There are two things that come to mind when you think of Kuh Ledesma as an artist. She has one of the best vocals in Asia and she is a Christian who has been very vocal about her faith.

As a Christian who is active in the music industry, Ledesma will not sing songs that are not in line with her beliefs. This what audience can expect from her upcoming pre-Valentine concert titled “Love Matters.”

“I’ve even more matured in the taste, you know, in the kind of music that I choose now,” Ledesma said during the “Love Matters” press conference on January 29, 2018. For her, the kind of love songs that she sings should uplift people and edify.

The audience cannot expect Ledesma to sing just any song because it is popular, especially songs that are too edgy and racy. She explained, “We have to think wisely what we are dishing out. We are talking about love.”

During the conference, Ledesma also admitted that she has to be careful when it comes to accepting acting roles. However, her fans who want to see her either on the small screen or on the big screen will have to wait because as of the moment, since she wants to devote her time to her singing projects including “Love Matters.”

Joining Ledesma in the “Love Matters” concert are her only daughter Isabella Gonzalez as well as Gabby Concepcion and Kris Lawrence. Produced by ALV Talent Circuit in partnership with ABS-CBN Vertis Tent, the concert will take place at the ABS-CBN Vertis Tent in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Originally, "Love Matters" was scheduled on February 13, 2018 at 8 p.m. However, it was postponed indefinitely.
