Kris Aquino was at Shangri-La at The Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila on July 27, Sunday, for the launching event of iFlix, which recently tapped her as an ambassador. One of the questions asked to her by the media after the event was why she unfollowed Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada and Melai Cantiveros.
Aquino looked surprised by the question and revealed that she did not know Magdangal, Estrada and Cantiveros were unfollowed on her Instagram account. The iFlix ambassador then revealed that she was not the only person handling her account on the photo-sharing application and service.
According to Aquino, there are times when she is abroad and things are needed to be posted on her Instagram so there are two more people handling her account. However, all the captions of the photos are written by her, she said.
What Aquino did not reveal are the identities of the two other people handling her Instagram account. She also apologized that Magdangal, Estrada and Cantiveros were unfollowed and added that if it was an issue, she would tell the other people handling the account to follow them again.
Magdangal, Estrada and Cantiveros are the hosts of the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay,” which airs on ABS-CBN Mondays to Fridays at 8:00-9:30 a.m. Its original timeslot was 7:30-9:30 a.m. replacing “Kris TV,” the morning talk show hosted by Aquino.
Before “Magandang Buhay,” Magdangal, Estrada and Cantiveros were contestants of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” Season 1. They also appeared on “Kris TV” as co-hosts.
“Kris TV” aired from June 27, 2011 to April 15, 2016. Aquino’s brother Benigno Aquino III was the President of the Philippines from June 30, 2010 to June 30, 2016.
Fans of Kris may not see her return on the small screen as a talk show host. However, it is expected that she is will have her own show on iFlix.
