This year, the 28th TIFF expanded its screening venues to include the Shinjuku area (3 theaters), as well as extending its duration to 10 days. The annual event drew 238,185 attendees, an increase of 6% from the previous year.
The 29th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) will be held for 10 days next year, from October 25 - November 3, 2016 at Roppongi Hills and other venues in Tokyo.
The Tokyo International Film Festival will continue to pursue enhancements in every area, as it strives to bring the best films and filmmaking talent from around the world, and to serve as a nexus for cultural interaction between films and cinema lovers, beyond national borders.
