Want to learn how you can stay fit in just four minutes? Come join FWD Live To Move Grand Festival, one of the most exciting health and wellness events of the year, on , , starting at the SM Mall of Asia Central Plaza.
The Festival is spearheaded by FWD Life Insurance Corporation (FWD) as part of its effort to promote a healthy and fit lifestyle among Filipinos. It is open to the public and wellness enthusiasts with varying fitness profiles whether you are novice, intermediate, or advanced.
Attendees will enjoy exciting activities and rewards and opportunities to participate in free medical consultations, cooking sessions, and group workouts. There will also be a wellness concert with live music by DJ Mars Miranda.
Leading the fitness concert are celebrity coaches and campaign collaborators Jim and Toni Saret (“The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Season 2,” “Fit Filipino Movement”), who developed the FWD Motion, a specially designed four-minute workout. The FWD Motion has a health benefit equivalent of up to one-hour exercise. Its four primary steps – jump, squat, push up, and lunge – will encourage Filipinos to get into their exercise gear and start moving.
Coaches Jim and Toni Saret also serve as healthy lifestyle ambassadors of the Philippine Heart Association (PHA), the official advocacy partner of Live To Move. FWD Life supports PHA’s 52100 advocacy, a simple guide to remind people of the essentials of good health, with each number representing a daily target: five (5) servings of fruits and vegetables, two (2) hours of moderate activity, one (1) hour of screen time, zero (0) sugary drinks, and zero (0) cigarettes.
Registrants are automatically qualified to join the hourly raffle draws where prizes include a MacBook Air, GoPro Hero 4, or Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and Gear Fit. There will also be entertainment from a number of surprise performers who have various passions in life. Attendees can also buy from FWD’s lifestyle brand partners that will set up booths around the venue.
The Festival is the highly-anticipated culminating activity of FWD’s Live To Move health and wellness movement–premised on the idea that achieving good health is key in living life to the fullest. FWD Life recently brought Live To Move to three Metro Manila cities where the public experienced the FWD Motion.
The campaign started with the FWD Motion online video challenge wherein participants post their workout videos featuring variations to the four primary steps. Entries can still be uploaded on www.livetomove.ph until .
