Road trips and junkets on ‘Wheels TV’

People say travel is one of the best teachers in life. Seeing new places, and more importantly, the feeling of wonderment and freedom it gives, expands outlook and clarifies perspective.

As millions of students returned to school early this week, “Wheels TV” also packed its bags for return to nature. The show took a road trip to northern Cebu, rediscovering the wonderful sights it offers.

For this, “Wheels TV” hosts and respected motoring journalists Ulysses Ang, Angel Rivero and Manny delos Reyes joined the  Road Trek sponsored by Toyota that annually gathers media for a chance to explore the Philippines.

Another segment sees Uly driving the all-new BMW2 Series Active Tourer all the way to Bacolod. Is it unwanted child or true-blue BMW? Find out if the controversy surrounding this baby is warranted or not---and do buckle up while you’re at it.

As proof that “Wheels TV” is becoming more popular than ever, host Kap Maceda-Agila flies all the way to Singapore to try out the Porsche Boxster. It’s a taste of the high life aboard one of the most revered car brands in the world, not to mention having the most expensive, snazziest models then and now.

"Wheels TV" airs on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel every Saturday at 10 a.m.
