Sinag Maynila is a film festival in the Philippines founded by Wilson Tieng and Brillante Mendoza.

They started the concept on October 2014 thinking what festival can they produce to tell more about the stories of the Filipinos. A committee was formed thru a combined force of Solar Entertainment and Center Stage Productions.

Planned to get experienced Directors, the founders have names in their minds.

The pre-selected filmmakers were originally composed of Zig Dulay, Jim Libiran, Paul Sta. Ana, Lawrence Fajardo and Remton Zuasola (originally Gino Santos).

As part of their requirement they submitted different concepts which entails different Filipino values.

Now it has come to reality.

March 18, 2015 - Sinag Maynila in partnership with SM and FDCP is born.
