Junemar Fajardo Posting up Against Danny Ildefonso
San Miguel Beermen is its original team name. It was then changed to Magnolia, then to Petron Blaze Boosters. However, many fans noticed that the winning tradition of the ball club seemed to diminished after they dispatched the SMB team name and jersey. It's their flagship team name and they became well known all over the league while wearing that uniform. This coming conference, they will be suiting up the SMB jersey once again.

Former teammate and mentor Danny Ildefonso is very vocal on expressing how proud he is for Junemar Fajardo. In a recent iterview by News5 he said:

Idlefonso is a two time PBA MVP and had his glory days while playing for the same franchise, the San Miguel Beermen.

Danny Ildefonso is currently playing for the Meralco Bolts. During his SMB stint a few conferences ago, he took responsibility of teaching Fajardo how to become an effective low post player, taught him formidable low post moves and court wits which is now being fully utilized by Fajardo as he emerged to be the best big man in the league today.

But Despite of all the success that Fajardo is having right now, Danny Ildefonso still sees a lot of things that Fajardo should improve.

Unlike yung sinubo mo yung bola, mag-miss, pwede mo ulit makuha yung second chance offensive rebound. Kung ‘di man, baka ma-foul ka pa, ma-counted pa.”
Ildefonso also added that, should Fajardo stay as hardworking, and humble as he is right now, he is sure that Fajardo will be able to reach his outstanding achievements before or even surpass him in the years to come.
