THE WANTED are back with a new smash hit single called “WALKS LIKE RIHANNA” produced by Dr. Luke (Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, B.o.B, Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Pink).

The Wanted’s sophomore single “WALKS LIKE RIHANNA” was premiered worldwide on the 29th of April and immediately gained huge success on radio and digital charts.

On Sunday, June 2, E! will celebrate the worlds of pop culture and music with the highly anticipated new series, ‘The Wanted Life’. This is to further establish their title as the hottest and most sought after boy band in the world. As the five friends gear up for their new US & European tours in hopes of continuing their success on the American charts, E! will capture every moment of what makes this band tick. From the making of their highly anticipated new album to their much talked about love lives, they have only success in mind all while working and playing hard under one Hollywood Hills roof.
‘The Wanted Life’ is a behind-the-scenes look into the rockstar and often dreamt about lifestyle of five UK and Irish megastars, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness , Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes. These friends, colleagues and heartthrobs for millions of girls, will learn how to navigate the American culture and work together to maintain their superstar status here in the US and worldwide.

With an eye toward reinventing the boy band sound, the Wanted formed in 2009, nearly 10 years after groups like N ‘Sync and the Backstreet Boys hit their commercial peak. Like those two groups, the Wanted was assembled through a series of auditions. Max George, a member of the short-lived British boy band Avenue, was the most famous singer to land a spot in the outfit’s lineup, while Siva Kaneswaran became the group’s only Irish member.
Rounded out by British vocalists Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes, the group topped the U.K. charts less than 12 months after forming, when their debut single “All Time Low” debuted at number one in August 2010.
The band's self-titled debut album followed with similar chart success, debuting at #4 at the UK album charts that same year. In 2011, The Wanted returned with their sophomore effort, Battleground featuring the single,"Gold Forever." By the time the album was released, the band had already signed a distribution deal with the American-based Def Jam Records. In 2012, The Wanted released a self-titled compilation EP as an introduction to the U.S. market which feaured hits off its first two albums, as well as two newly recorded songs.
