Last June 19, Tuesday, Miss World Philippines 2012 held its Gala Night at Dusit Thani Hotel Manila. It was a spectacle of Filipino talent and beauty, as well as an opportunity to support women’s and children’s causes. The pre-pageant event paid tribute to and relived the beauty and elegance of a Filipina in a Filipiniana. Filipino fashion and talent were showcased by 25 Filipino designers in a parade of 25 different Filipiniana creations. Same designers including Veejay Floresca, Edwin Uy and Arielle Agasang also designed the gowns for all the candidates on the Coronation Night.
