5th District Negros Occidental Rep. Iggy Arroyo died in London. He was 60 years old. As his lawyer Romulo Macalintal said that Arroyo succumbed to cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment for liver ailment. Last December,2011,
Arroyo had said that he was going to stay longer in the UK for his treatment.
The deceased congressman's brother, former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo, said his remains will be brought home "any day now."
