She said the film has a unique story which tells about something that’s not often discussed but is happening around us.
“Iba siya, ibang story. Usually, hindi siya pinaguusapan, pero alam natin na nangyayari siya sa paligid natin. Very interesting yung topic. Tapos yung love scenes namin hindi naman siya yung tipong nakakainis panoorin. Sakto lang naman po. First time namin pareho gawin yung mga medyo maselang eksena dito sa pelikula.” Angel said.
When asked how she feels doing the scenes with John Lloyd, Angel answered: “Yung makasama mo si JLC, magkasama kayo, may kissing scenes kayo, binabayaran ka, magrereklamo ka pa ba?”
For his part, John Lloyd said his character in the movie is someone who has complicated love problems.
“Ako si Macky Galvez, isang lalaking hindi niya maintindihan kung ano bang problema sa kanya, kung ano bang mali. Pilit kong inaalam kung ano bang problema, ano bang mali sa akin. Tingin ko naman tama akong magmahal, buo akong magmahal. Pero bakit ganoon, puro failed relationships pa rin,” he said.
The actor added that the movie’s genre is unusual for her leading lady.
“Unofficially Yours” is the first offering movie of Star Cinema for 2012. Industry observers expect that it will break box-office records set by “No Other Woman,” “Prabeyt Benjamin” and “Won’t Last A Day Without You.”
