The most memorable movie I watched last year was The Social Network. Now it is nominated as Best Picture for the Oscars.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced last Tuesday the list of key Oscar nominees. And the nominees are:

“The Fighter” and “True Grit” were released by Paramount Pictures, a unit of Viacom Inc.

“The Kids Are All Right” was released by Focus Features, a unit of General Electric Co’s NBC Universal.

“The King’s Speech” was released by the Weinstein Co, which is privately held.

“The Social Network” was released by Columbia Pictures, a unit of Sony Corp.

“Toy Story 3″ was released by Walt Disney Pictures, a unit of Walt Disney Co.

“Winter’s Bone” was released by Roadside Attractions, which is privately held.

The winners of the 83rd Academy Awards on February 27 in Hollywood. It will be shown LIVE on February 28, Monday morning starting at 6:30 a.m. on the VELVET channel and the main ceremonies on ABS-CBN Channel 2 at 10 a.m.
