Make Even the Toughest Printing Jobs Easy

Easy one-touch functionality makes printing intuitive and user-friendly

Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO), announced recently the launch of a new monochrome laser printer-the ML-1660 . The ML-1660 offers users an intuitive printing experience by incorporating a number of easy-to–use, one-touch features into the products’ design. Being compact in size, the printer is ideal for personal, home office and small office users.

“Samsung understands that consumers don’t want to have to worry about working out how to use their new devices,” said Ed Kasunuran, Printer Product Manager IT Solution Business, SEPCO. “With the new printers, we have incorporated a wide range of features in a stylish and compact device to make printing simple and convenient.”

Maximum Efficiency, Minimum Space

The Samsung ML-1660 is the basic black-and-white laser printer—an ultra-small printer with a compactly elegant design that will fit just about anywhere. Filled with clever built-in features, like the One Touch Printing, low-noise level, and an impressive printing speed, the Samsung ML-1660 is both smart and pleasing to look at.

This printer produces beautiful monochrome prints and vividly clear texts, perfect for basic printing needs in the home and in school. The cost-efficiency of the Samsung ML-1660, priced at an unbelievable P3,995, makes it ideal for student and home use. Most users have doubts with switching to laser printers, as toner prices tend to run high, but not with this Samsung printer. Black-and-white toners from Samsung are retailed for P3,000 each, and with a maximum yield of 1,500 pages per replacement toner.

Nina Samaco, a Psychology instructor and a PhD student at the Ateneo de Manila University, is impressed with the compact size of the Samsung ML-1660. “My usual printing requirements are research papers, graphs; I don’t need high graphic stuff,” she says of how this printer fits in with her teaching and studying needs. She also has a great experience with other Samsung products: “Actually, I use a Samsung netbook—an N150.”

TV host, DJ, and Communication Arts student Andi Manzano is also excited with using the Samsung ML-1660 for her thesis and other school requirements. “I like the fact that it’s small, affordable, and very cost-efficient. It’s something that you can take with you to school when you’re in a rush to print,” Andi says, who as a working student has become more practical with managing both her time and finances.

The Samsung ML-1660 is so user-friendly that even young children can use it. Jin Salgado-Gregorio, a full-time mom and wife to Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants coach Ryan Gregorio, is always considering her kids’ needs when purchasing new electronic gadgets. “I like how the Samsung ML-1660 is very child-friendly. My kids can also use the printer easily.”

Making life easier with intuitive features

Technological advances in multifunction printing have meant that printers are smarter and more feature-rich than ever before but this means they often have a bewildering number of buttons, dials and controls to negotiate.

The ML-1660 advanced intuitive features are seamlessly integrated into the devices’ design. Ideal for the smallest of working environments, the new printers are even more compact than previous Samsung models, making them the smallest on the market. They also feature a streamlined design and a stylish, glossy, chic black finish. A cover on the output tray contributes to the streamlined look and helps to keep the noise level down, avoiding unnecessary distraction in the home or work office.

In addition, the ML-1660 is dispatched with minimal packaging to reduce the impact of the devices on the environment.

The black toner cartridges that supply these printers deliver a 1,500-page yield and provide the same high standard of quality and reliability to be expected from Samsung original printing supplies.
