STYLEWAREHOUSE is a multi faceted company that originated in Sydney in 2007, founded by designer Pia Gladys Perey and entrepreneur Daniel Placido. STYLEWAREHOUSE successfully launched the label White Kitten in Australia, participating in Rosemount Sydney Fashion Week multiple times. As a result, White Kitten is now an international brand, being available in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines only after 1 year of being launched. Pia Gladys Perey Director

Director and Design Head behind the label ‘white kitten’, Pia Gladys Perey was cited by local publications as one of the top 10 designers in this and last year’s Philippine Fashion Week. Pia has a proven track record of launching and developing labels. She is the first Filipina to receive an invite to launch her label in Australia through Rosemount Australian Fashion Week within less than a year of staying in Sydney. Her work is constantly featured in magazines in the Philippines as well as Australia. This year, her label ‘white kitten’ will be featured again in the Ready to Wear collection of Australian Fashion Week, the Premiere Collection of Philippine Fashion Week and the Aspiring Designers Show in Dubai Fashion Week.

Since its launch in an exhibit at the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, ‘white kitten’ has been featured and reviewed in FTV and by top fashion magazines and newspapers in Australia such as The Sunday Telegraph (April 27, ‘08 issue), Fashion Journal (June, July, and December ’08 issue, Cleo (July ’08 issue), international forecasting magazine, Fashion Trend (second quarter ’08 issue, Australia and Milan), Elle Hong Kong (July ’08 issue), Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia (December Issue). ‘white kitten’ is being sold in Ausralia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Daniel Placido – Editor, Sydney

Daniel is the co-founder of Stylewarehouse Sydney who successfully launched ‘white kitten’ in Australia, and is currently the SE Asia distributor for Australian brands One Teaspoon, Waikiki, Cupid Girl, and other Australian labels. Daniel has had years of experience in sales and account management within the corporate world and has a degree in Communication Arts Majoring in Media and Cultural Studies from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Daniel has also written articles for Australian music and fashion websites In the Mix and 2 Threads.
